DTC’s The Secret Garden opens April 24 in Damascus

The Damascus Theatre Company will present its spring musical, The Secret Garden, April 24-27 at the Damascus Fire Department Activities Center, 10211 Lewis Drive, Damascus. The show will be presented Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.

Budget, water and cable issues reviewed at special town council meeting

On Wednesday, March 26, a special Mt. Airy Town Council meeting was held with three agenda items to be discussed: the budget, revised water rates and a cable agreement the town is seeking to enter into with Comcast.
